Half Day Course: How to Stop Overthinking
spinningSaturday 21 March | 10:00 – 13:00
Half-Day Course with Gen Kelsang Dragpa
“When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and our mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within.”
Excerpt from How to Transform Your Life,
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Many of us feel that we can never stop thinking. We would love to sometimes have a break from the constant chatter in our mind, especially when at times our thinking becomes counterproductive – turning around in circles, leaving us confused, anxious or even downright negative. We may feel unable to “switch off” our thoughts, easily get caught up in loops of overthinking, and end up feeling drained of energy.
In this meditation class we can learn how to skillfully observe our mind and feelings, and how to prevent them spinning out of control. Without suppressing our emotions, we will learn meditation techniques to gradually keep a calm and relaxed mind in all circumstances.
In this course Gen Dragpa will present special meditations to reduce the thoughts that make us anxious, and guide meditations to temporarily stop our thoughts completely. We can learn to abide in the serene and peaceful sphere of our own mind, and experience clarity and joy from within.
Please note: This course is taught in English.
Bookings: You can book below to attend the course in-person or online (price: €30,-; members: FREE). We look forward to welcome you soon, either in-person or online.
