Public talk: How Not to Take Things Personally – with Adrienne Weiss
Tuesday 3 February | 19:00 – 20:30
Public Talk on How Not to Take Things Personally – followed by a 6 weeks series of meditation classes with Adrienne Weiss

Anger feels powerful—but in truth it comes from feelings of overwhelm and vulnerability. In moments of conflict, we often turn to anger, resentment or guilt as if they were trusted allies, believing they will protect us or help us “win.” Yet these painful states of mind only cloud our wisdom, damage our relationships, and keep our hearts unsettled.
According to Buddha, anger is a deluded, unpeaceful mind that distorts our perception, making challenges appear far bigger and more overwhelming than they truly are. As long as we hold onto these turbulent emotions, inner peace remains out of reach and our potential for happiness and meaningful connection remains limited.
In this uplifting series of classes, Adrienne will share Buddha’s inspiring and practical methods for recognising, reducing and ultimately letting go of our anger, resentment and guilt. Through clear teachings and guided meditations, we will learn how to transform the restless energy of these emotions into a centred, constructive and compassionate response.
By applying these teachings, we discover a new and profound inner strength—the ability to remain calm, confident and open-hearted even when life becomes difficult. Instead of reacting with frustration or blame, we learn to navigate challenges with wisdom and creativity, opening the door to genuine solutions, healing, and new possibilities.
Join us and experience the freedom that comes from releasing what harms us and cultivating a peaceful, powerful heart centered state of mind. Everybody welcome.
