Fearless Wisdom- Empowerment of Buddha Green Tara

Saturday 19 / Sunday 20 September | 09:00 – 19:30 / 10:00 – 14:30

Fearless wisdom – The Empowerment of Green Tara (in English)

with Gen Kelsang Dragpa, Resident Teacher of KMC Nederland and National Spiritual Director of the Nordic region

At this special event we will receive the empowerment of Arya Tara, a female Buddha who is the manifestation of the exalted wisdom of all the Buddhas. The empowerment is an uplifting guided meditation that helps us draw closer to Arya Tara and the good qualities she embodies.

Tara means ‘liberator’ in that she liberates all beings from all fear and suffering. Through receiving her powerful blessings we can  actualize our own potential for fearless wisdom and compassionate action. See here for an introductory video on Arya Tara by Gen-la Kelang Dekyong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Dtnmljr8LA

After the empowerment, we will receive a commentary to Arya’ Tara’s practice, showing how to rely upon Tara in daily life to overcome fear and obstacles. By relying on Tara with sincere faith, she will swiftly protect us from all internal and external dangers and fulfills our wishes. She will provide us with the conditions we need for our spiritual training, and guide and inspire us with her blessings as we progress along the spiritual path.

During the retreat, participants have the opportunity to deepen their experience of Tara practice, bringing the teachings closer to the heart and into daily life.
