Wednesday Meditation Class: Discovering peace through meditation
Wednesdays | 19:00 – 20:15
Discovering peace through meditation
Meditation is a method to become familiar with inner peace. This peace is there, within us, waiting to be found; the way we find it is through turning away from distractions and focusing inwards through regular meditation. Even spending 10 minutes every day just focusing on our breath can work wonders.
If we practise patiently in this way, gradually our distracting thoughts will subside and we shall experience a sense of inner peace and relaxation. Our mind will feel lucid and spacious and we shall feel refreshed. (From How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche) *
Classes are suitable for both beginners and those with some meditation experience.
Venue | Kadampa Meditation Centre Netherlands: Spaarndammerstraat 32 Hs, 1013 SW Amsterdam.
